I think some are taking this out of “context”. I do not think Leonard Pitts, Jr. was “banning” the use of the N word but questoning Chris Rock’s excuse using this word. I’m not saint, I’m definately interrupted, but I do know that this world holds so much power. I applaud his use of “The Slaves’ War” by Andrew Ward to show, even now, how the impact of our thinking can be damaging.
I’m not sure what bothered me most about Chris Rock’s show, his downright profane comments from start to finish or the people who found it funny.
